Customize your YouTube channel Step-by-Step



In the previous article we learned that how to create a YouTube channel. In this article we will see, how to customize our created YouTube channel.If you created your channel now it's time for customize. Follow this article Step-by-Step.


Step 1  Change your channel icon. Make sure you have a unique picture for your channel. Without a unique icon, your channel look like a careless and unprofessional.



Step 2 Add a channel art or YouTube Cover picture.Make sure your cover picture must be related with your channel. This step will help your channel stand out from the crowd.

  • Click on pencil icon at the wright corner of your channel or click on "Add channel art".
  • Select your picture (Make sure your picture fits the required size) and Submit.



Step 3 Write something about your channel, This is helpful if you really want to inform a viewer about your channel or just want to put a message.

  • Go to your channel's "about" page and click channel description


Step 4 Add a channel trailer, this step is very professional for your channel.
  • Go to your channel's home page and add a un-subscriber or subscriber channel trailer to welcome visitors to your channel.
  • You can create a special video that informs your un-subscribers what your channel is about.
  • You can add a video you think deserves more attention to your channel also.


Step 5 Create a Playlist by same categorized video.
  • Click "add a section" at the bottom of your channel
  • Click add a single playlist and add the playlist your just made.
  • Make a custom title name of what it is your doing in the playlist.


Step 6 If you have any social media pages or Website, which are related to your channel then you can add them.
  • Go to your channel's "about" page and click the "add custom links" button
  • Add all of your channels social media pages, websites and blogs (e.g Facebook pages, Twitter, or Instagram)
